This makes the most sense.

IMO, Atlanta makes a lot of sense for Jrue. If he's not willing to extend there, I would be curious as to where he would want to go. There aren't a ton of places that will both be a solid team, and have the cap space to outright sign him in 2021. Maybe Miami if they strike out on Giannis.

This guy, being a good reporter, is screwing up Griffin's game to drive up Jrue's price.

My guess is that New Orleans isn't interested in Huerter

Stein is a legit news breaker. It's more than just a rumor if he posts it. The Atlanta beat writer coming back with a "rebuttal but not denial" makes me think the Pels are holding firm on the Hawks having to give up more than #6 and Huerter. The problem for the Hawks is they are the team in the desperate situation and Jrue solves a lot of problems for them.

It would be more likely that he feels he can make more money, even with staying with the same team as a FA, than signing an extension due to the cap situation this offseason.

Our boy on twitter mentioned Brooklyn getting Jrue with Levert going to Atlanta, hence the wording on that tweet would be accurate...since the Stein report was a multi-team deal with 6 being involved.

Or Atlanta is just a 3rd team taking on an asset from the Jrue trade and sending us #6. Been alluded to a few times that Levert would fit with them.

Trying to construct a palatable Nets-Hawks-Pels trade and it’s difficult

Like Dinwiddie’s game but his personality can be off putting. Allen is redundant with Jax. Temple would be a good backup wing. Would imagine we would get Huerter and 6. Musa? Kurucs?

A framework of:

Pels
6, Heurter

Nets
Jrue

Hawks
Levert, Temple

Works on the trade machine. Not sure what has to move around to make it work in reality.

Temple could go to either us or Hawks, I have Hawks here to try and even some value.

This looks to be an insane multi team deal.

Pels:
6
Dinwiddie

Hawks:
LeVert

Nets:
Jrue

Seems like that would work for all

Temple's option is being declined.

Kind of upset if he’s being traded. Personally know Jrue and he, his wife and his family is truly an asset to New Orleans. Only team I wouldn’t be upset is he goes to Indiana with his brothers.

Have they already done so? If not not they could just pick it up for this deal to work.

If not then they have to unload another player or player(s) with at least 5 mill in value

Remember that Dinwiddie was a Trajan Langdon reclamation project that he pulled off the scrap heap and developed with the GLeague team he was in charge of. He also can fill Jrue's role on offense reasonably well. I would bet that of Dinwiddie/Prince/Allen that Dinwiddie is at the top of the Pels list.

Yep, and we will need a ball handler if we trade Jrue. Dinwiddie and 6 would be decent value, IMO.

I like his game and on court he makes sense so maybe with Langdon here that’ll work fine. Need another PG and he can shoot so ticks the boxes. I would also ask for Huerter and a future pick as well

So...

Dinwiddie, Huerter, 6, future 1 to Pels

Jrue to Nets

Levert, Temple to Hawks (maybe a 2nd goes to them)

I don't know the timeline, but I was listening to a pod this week and they mentioned that it was being declined.

Would not give up a future 1st
This is not a very good draft
To go up to #6 pick I think I would rather just keep pick #13
