Someone on the LA side just released the Pels’ apparent demands, which come off as remarkably reasonable for the Lakers on the surface.
They want to dump Solo and get multiple firsts.
The Lake Show won’t do this because it messes up their offseason plans if they get Solo for KCP.

Yes you are correct... This was clearly worst offer that was sent and Pels leaked it. From what I can tell it seems like Pels have handled this perfectly and havent backed down a bit.

Also, KCP, the only player not offered by the Lakers, is represented by Klutch. It's a complete shite show over there. I would love to see AD switch agents again after he lands in Boston or New York. This has not worked out for him at all.

Pels wont trade Davis to Celtics without Tatum. I think they fall behind Lakers without him and no way they top Knicks offer.

What some don't understand is that this is a battle between NY and Boston for Davis AND Kyrie
If you are Boston and you lose AD to the Knicks because you don't include Tatum, then Kyrie follows AD to the Knicks. Now, you gotta play AD and Kyrie in your division for the next 5-10 years. But hey, you kept Tatum...so you are good!

If he isn’t on the table, Boston has to send out a lot of other pieces or eat salaries like Solo IF the Knicks don’t have a Godfather offer.
Basically a deal of Brown, Smart, Horford (salary relief due to 1 season $30m PO) a ton of 1sts, and whatever Ainge could scare up through flipping other assets we don’t want while eating Solo.

KCP has a no trade clause in his contract because it's a one year deal and he would lose early bird rights
It may be that they don't want to swap him for extra long term money. Or that Klutch is protecting him
He may also just have told the Lakers he would veto any trade. Sort of weird if thats the case since he is a Klutch guy. Pels would and should probably just tell him to stay away if they did get him in a deal

Hasn’t KCP been with the Lakers multiple seasons? If so he already has some early Bird rights and it being a 1 season deal is irrelevant, provided the Lakers didn’t renounce him to sign LeBron.

Yes if you are the Celtics and have to deal with Ad and Kyrie for five years you are totally screwed. To think you had the assets to retain both and have done nothing would be insane.

and it NYK's pick falls outside of where you want it? then what?
Celtics have leverage again and a Jaylen Brown-centered deal plus stuff plus picks looks better than what LAL or NYK can give.

Im not trading Davis to Celtics in a deal that doesnt include Tatum. They are on auto no without him.
