This is the most obvious thing that will ever happen… he will go to a team with a better culture and absolutely turn it around. We will then, again, become the laughing stock and the place star players go to die.

This franchise could move from NOLA and no one would blink an eye.

I mean, at least I don’t have to get my hopes raised and shattered. Probably done with this team if this is the hire.

I'm not a fan of hiring Dumars, but I can't blame them for wanting to move on from Zion. Just the things we know about Zion is exhausting can't imagine all the other bs that happened we don't know about.

I'm done. Not worth the time.

I quit the Saints when they retained Allen and they continue to prove me right by tripling down on fricking Loomis and Carr.

And now I'm done with the Pels.

frick Gayle.

Today’s news only confirms that while griffin was certainly a problem, he wasn’t even close to the biggest problem.

Has one person ever been able to simultaneously tank two professional sports teams so fast ?

Gayle really has no clue.

She continues to hire or retain old men who have been passed by the game decades ago.

To the point where I hope Seattle gets a team so I can just go back to rooting for my childhood team. This organization is a literal dumpster fire.

Well frick my arse that does it. No more I’m done. That was one exhausting search Gayle. The first name out of Loomis or whoever told her to hire Dumars and she’s sold. Can’t wait to see who gets picks as the GM….not! They should leave Graham in that role if they were smart since he’s at least got an eye for talent but they will hire the shittiest person they possibly can find because this is the Pels after all.

Honestly I just feel apathy at this point. If Gayle is going to run the team like this does it really matter if Dumars or the hottest name on the GM market were in charge?

Either way she’s not letting the GM pick his coach and forcing him to trade Zion. I’m 100% down to trade Zion but that decision should be made by the GM not the owner.

So again, does it matter who the GM is if Gayle doesn’t allow them to do their job?

Alright so I'm s in snd out NBA fan - if Dumars is head of basketball ops and they bring in a solid GM is that so bad?

I'm not arguing with you guys I just don't know the reason this is looked at as so bad. So sell me on pros/cons with Dumars.

I'd love us to be competitive on a regular basis - its fun to attend and watch.

Since Detroit encouraged him to leave his role 11 years ago, no other NBA team thought he was worthy of becoming a GM.

He made one of the most famous draft gaffes in NBA history by picking Darko Milicic over Carmelo Anthony, D Wade and Chris Bosh.

Just let them vent. It will all make more sense later. Dumars is going to run the business. He would pick a GM (or retain Graham) to make basketball decisions. Green will probably be gone, and hopefully Zion as well. It's all good news so far..
