what would that trade take?
I'd like to keep Graham as 6th man...Do you think we could do it with the Lakers first, Jax, and NAW? maybe a future pick swap or even top 10 protected first

So you think they would accept that pile of crap when they could have Ben Simmons for Fox at any point.

You probably have to get a 3rd team involved and give up at least Hart + Graham + picks.

Not sure why Pels fans really want Fox. He's a ball dominate guard that can't shoot the 3.
He's shooting under 25% from 3 this year and is a career 31%. And he is average at best on defense. Would be a terrible mistake to trade anything significant for him.

I have grown more and more skeptical of Fox as the season has gone on. To the point I’m half way to where you are, in that I’d give up some stuff because I think Fox can be rehabilitated enough to flip him again and maybe even turn a slight asset profit from what you gave up.
But at one point I felt Fox really just needed a change of scenery and to be in a situation where he isn’t “the man.”
And to an extent I do think that is right, but wonder if here is the place that can happen?
Because as far as his shooting goes none of it is great, but there is a scenario where it’s not terrible, and that’s one where he largely abandons pull up jumpers and embraces off ball catch and shooting. Since when he takes zero dribbles on the catch and shoot he’s around 36% this year, 40% last year.
He currently takes roughly 2:1 pull up threes vs catch and shoot, If you flipped his shot selection he’d potentially be a respectful 36ish three point shooter if you split the difference between last year and this.
But is the young Pels where he’ll be willing to change his approach? IDK. I think if he went to a more vet team he’d feel the pressure much more strongly, but our bunch of somewhat softies I’m not sure will be able to get that change out of him…but I’m sort of willing to try if the cost isn’t outrageous

Because he’s from this area and he’s a young player that played very well at UK. He also has a natural rivalry with a large contingent one of our fans least favorite recent ex players (Lonzo).
Fox doesn’t fit with Zion.
Fox needs get out of SacTown and Philly is a better fit for him.

I have a hard time seeing how he gets here over Philly, NY, etc…but you want him because he is a guard who penetrates the lane and gets to the rim, breaking down opposing defenses. He’s still young and has been an elite scorer in his career. Shooting is often a skill that can be developed. His speed and ball skills are not….
