Even fully healthy this team will struggle to make the play in. Not as many tanking teams in the west this year. I pray to god Dumars can see the writing on the wall with this team when we start losing to begin the season that this team needs to be blown up. I’m more scared that Dumars will use assets to try and improve this team

We’ve had intentions on having intentions in the past. But this time we’re really intent to actually having intentions

Should not be a surprise. He has too many years remaining on his deal to get good value in return. Despite what some people here and in the media claim, the demand for him just isn't there under these circumstances.

I really like Trey. I wish we were good enough for him to matter to us.
We all know how this is going to end though, don't we?

Not sure there will be ANY..."tanking teams in the West this year". Doubt any team wants to mess around...on purpose,,, and only win 20 games or so {like last year) and flirt with those bottom 3 spots. Trash wins...will be at a minimum. Not good...for a team like the Pelicans.

This is just not true. His contract length at a very reasonable number adds to his value significantly.

I really am fine with this as long as they get a starting center. If they don’t address the center position and the lack of shooting there is no point.

If we can't get what we deserve for him, then you don't trade him. It's that simple. No deal came across worthy of accepting.

It's very true. A bad team is not going to trade for him to play a significant role, because he has that here and its not good enough. A contender is not going to trade for him to play 15-20 minutes off the bench at his price and years remaining for what the Pels want. And a contender is not going to trade for him to be a starter because they have better players filling those roles.

Man, just quit while you’re behind. You are making a fool of yourself.
