You still haven't even addressed how badly you botched the lineup thing thinking that Jose would have to start if we got Trae and not Trey Murphy.

He won't admit this because his whole point of that was to set up Trae "not being a PG"

Correct, he's doing that SFP special where when he gets called out on something clearly wrong, he just ignores all posts about it and keeps arguing everything else

He intentionally did it, it wasn't an oversight

He knew that Trae would start next to Herb in reality

He was setting it up as that is not an option because Trae is not a PG and therefore MUST start at SG, forcing Herb to the bench

I can see Rockets or Magics chasing for Ingram. If Rockets come to you and offer you Jabari smith but you have to take Vanvleet/Brooks. Would you do it?

There is absolutely zero chance Ingram is traded straight up for any of these guys. Are you stupid, or just trolling?

This is an absurd idea that Zion to date has ever been better than Trae Young at any point.

It's hilarious that you think it's not even close.

Taken their team to the playoffs- Trae Healthier and can be relied on to be available - Trae
Who has produced more when playing -Trae
Who has made an All NBA team - Trae

Trae has absolutely had a better career than Zion so far, no doubt. But even with Zions struggles and a “down” year, Trae’s season was worse.

Zion had a better ORtg, DRtg, WS, WS/48, PER, BPM, and VORP than Trae.

He also played in 70 games to Trae’s 54.

If the the Pelicans were in the East, Zion would have also lead his team to the playoffs this year too. Zion also has a better ORtg, DRtg, PER, BPM, and WS/48 than Trae for their careers.

I understand your points though. This ultimately about availability, which is obviously the most important attribute that a player can have, and in that realm, Trae blows Zion out of the water. I also realize that Trae has shown he’s not scared of the big moments, which is clearly important too and something Zion hasn’t shown.

If I had take either Zion or Trae to win a single game or make the playoffs in a single season, I’d probably take Trae. But if the question is who would you rather have for the next 5 years, I don’t think it’s crazy for anyone to want Zion

I do Ingram for Trae in a fricking heartbeat.

A Trae/Herb, Trae/Dyson backcourt works just fine.

You get a true clutch finisher and someone who can distribute. Yeah, his D sucks but so does Ingram's anyway. You hide him with Herb/Dyson.

I will say for Willie as a coach he gets the best out of guys defensively. They still might not be good but they’ll be good enough if their offense is legit.

You assume Trae / Herb, Trae /Dys.

What about Trae/Cj?

Or Trae, Trey, Zion?

Better score 140/night bc going to need every last one of them .

As cool as it would be to see the Trae/Z actions with lobs , floaters, and 3s, I don’t see Trae being a Pels target . They like length and frankly need it around Zion .

Anybody watching Trae right now? Feels like dude has more turnovers than points. Bulls working them. Young has been terrible.

A line up of

Trae Young
Bogdann Bogdanovic
Brandon Ingram
Jalen Johnson
Clint Capela

Doesn’t seem bad at all. Another team I would like us to trade with is Utah. Supposedly Kessler and Will Hardy doesn’t get a long with each other. Markannen is expiring so they won’t be asking for much if he won’t resign. If we can get Kessler and Markannen for Ingram, I be happy with that too.

I imagine we all would.

This roster + those 2 bigs - (JV and BI) would be significantly better (assuming good injury luck).

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought he was just posting players with salaries that would match BI's salary without having to include other players on either side for a trade. Not that a team would trade Booker straight up for BI.

Yeah, I said it right up in the beginning. I don't think any of these trades would happen, but these are the guys that work in the NBA trade machine.

I doubt it if we trade him it will be a 1 for 1. Probably 2-3 guys for salary matching purposes.

I'm fine with that. Usually you don't want to trade the best player, but I don't think Ingram is anything special. Good player, not a star.
