Bring him off the bench. 20-25 minutes of pure wrecking ball havoc. T murph and Jose on outside knocking threes. Don’t disrupt too much starter rhythm.

Absolutely, he looks good on the bench, he looks great on the practice dunks. If we win tonight it’s time to start easing him in.

It’s moot given how we’ve flapped tonight but he should have been active in case we needed a spark.

I’d be afraid to mess up our flow in a 1 and done game but in a series I’m definitely down

Chad did you get unbanned?

Pretty sure the team sent out the message they ain’t playing him in any meaningful manner this season.

But if this dude is putting on a dunk show and we manage to get to the Suns, some questions will need to be answered lol.

If we miss the playoffs because Ingram and CJ go ice cold on Friday and lose by 2-3 points, Camp Zion won't be thrilled

Zion was laughing and ecstatic courtside, stunting Temple's suit, spending hours cutting up with CJ at dinners, he and his family are reiterating all the same lines the team medical staff and Griff have stated, the whole ESPN wishful thinking head cannon about Zion secretly being a Lebron level diva and his personal team in some forever adversarial and domineering posture with the organization stuff really needs to die.

The team is following best practices and that is probably not going to align with him playing this season, and thats alright. In fact, it probably helps feed Zion's desire to be a part of this thing he can only watch from the sidelines right now. Probably ensures we get the best Zion we have seen in the pros yet and one that is 100% bought in to the team.

In my humble opinion, his stepfather needs to see the Pelicans succeed without him, and I hope he gets out of the way of this young man reaching his ultimate potential. He needs to let the professionals train him and create his meal plans.

If big Z wanted to play and the team didn’t let him, wouldn’t this be leaked by now? I assume so.

This is exactly the case. He wants to play. They will not let him.

Zion got torched this morning, on the shows I watched. He is still very overweight and not in shape. If he plays, he is likely to get hurt. He is just not ready and not worth the risk to put him out there..

Agree I'd love to see that weirdo out there wreaking havoc and have a frustrated Chris Paul break into his Fred Sanford routine

His first priority is getting paid. playing this season puts that at risk. If he doesn’t play he will get his max extension. Break another bone in his foot and well, he could easily lose lots of money.

Very true. He has been out of the public eye too much though and needs the attention (marketing wise). In his mind or his people, it is worth the risk to get some heat going into the offseason..

Not sure what anyone else saw from the video clip, but no way is Zion ready to play. He is not in NBA game shape. Everyone who wants the best for Zion, long term without rose-colored glasses on, should clearly see he needs to spend the summer focusing on his conditioning and be ready to go come October.

Zion hasn't played in a NBA game in over a year and some want him to comeback in the most intense games of the year. Stop acting like even if we make the playoffs that a rusty Zion with no chemistry with the team on the floor will make a difference against the Suns. The Pels main concern is that Zion is healthy to start the season for a change so that we don't get off to another awful start.

Of course the morons on ESPN wants him to play because they don't give a frick about the Pels and they want the views.
