No way he comes here. Big free agents want big markets. The only way a team like us improves is by the draft or trade. They have got to hit on the BI trade. If they don’t then it’s all screwed.

Cool. Won't happen. Even if it did...we still got Willie. 42-40. First round exit. 4-2.

Well then you don't do it.

Any team is going to want that.

The pels aren't going to be his pick.

He either stays in Cleveland or goes to miami imo.

You should change your username to Pot, because you are constantly meeting kettles on this board.

Why would he sign an extension with the Pels if he wouldn't with the Cavs?

I don’t know the answer to this, but signing an extension doesn’t mean anything in today’s climate. Even if he signs an extension, if he isn’t happy after a year he’ll just ask to be traded.

Then you get full value for him rather than losing him for nothing as a FA

We'll see. I will be shocked if CLE gets the same value they traded.

My point is, that he’ll most likely sign an extension wherever he goes. As dumb as it is, players almost have more control over where they go when traded than they do in free agency. Good teams rarely have cap space in todays world (Philly is an exception).

This is probably the most realistic post in the thread. He's most likely going to secure the bag first and foremost and demand a trade if things don't pan out in a year or two. His response to how he feels about Cleveland pretty much sells that idea. And Cleveland will bend over backwards to please him by trying to get another big time player there with him with their assets. (Garland/Allen)

The "under the radar" move is still Lebron, which actually works out pretty well. The question is can they somehow get lebron and another guy like Ingram, young, Murray, etc.

At the very least, there's a market for players this year to be had.

If LeBron came here it would be the ultimate switch. I have always hated this dude since I was 10 but I think I could live with him coming here and showing Zion some of what he’s learned over his long and illustrious career

Why did you hate LeBron when he first came into the league?

It was amazing seeing him take that cavs team to the finals.

Been saying this for a while, not sure why it always receives push back.

There's what people think should happen, and what does happen. Players of that level have darn near full control and at the very least get to sign off on where they're going. It is what it is.

Lebron came into the league when I was like 4. I hated him on the Heat, don’t remember his first stint with the Cavs at all

I never have liked him from day one. Elite. Entitled. Unaccountable. Chinese lackey. Race baiter. Hypocrite. And BTW Bron... release that security recording of the racist gate painting at your palace.

I think LeBron was a good dude in the beginning, a humble kid from a rough upbringing with no father. But then he blew up and he became corrupted. I don’t even care to get political at all but dude was spouting MLK quotes talking about “an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere” but then refuses to make a single comment on China, even calling Morey uneducated. That’s just being bought and paid for and knowing where his bread is buttered, soul is sold at that point

“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”

I would never cheer for Lebron. Same thing for Brady. If either came to Saints or Pels, I'd actively route against.
