Not as many players involved as thought screams Fox or CJ to me, which means its probably someone out of left field thats never been mentioned.

I hope it’s fox… I’m not on the CJ train at all.

Makes me think its a much smaller trade, like Huerter, Hield or Fournier or Gordon in a swap + salary filler, but we will see.

The only way this is true is if the price on CJ and Fox is just too high, which seems likely. Portland making the trade they did probably just chummed the waters for low balling.
I'd expect Sato + Didi + 2nds for Buddy/Fournier/Gordon. I could also see it being a protected 1st and Huerter.

If this is actually based on inside info to the point that they know the day, I'm guessing the Pels have a yes on one of the names, but are waiting on a name they want more who's team is hoping for a better offer, and the Pels have given them until Tuesday or they withdraw the offer and go with the fall back deal.

Matt Moore with the action network said the rockets have 1st round offers for Gordon. Plus I doubt he wants to come back here. Doubt it’s him
Would be fine with any of the other prices for those players. Why is Fournier available? Knicks want more minutes for Reddish?

I didn't say they'd be good 2nds, and in some situations maybe they send us the 2nds. But the Tuesday deadline is what's interesting.
The trade deadline is Thursday. So the deal we have in hand probably needs to happen before that team can make other deals they want. Houston isn't likely to be buyers so I'd say rules out Lemon Head. We must have a deal in place already for Buddy/Fournier/Huerter.
I'm going to say Huerter for a protected 1st is the deal we have in place, but Buddy for 2nds or less is the deal we want. Again, that's assuming this allegedly sourced internet rumor from a random twitter account is true.
