Hawkins would probably get traded. The 8 mil per year is right against the luxury tax so a marginal move is needed. Good deal by Joe.

Wait are you saying that we plan to trade Poole/ Hawk/ Peavy and make several moves? A bunch of mentally fragile people told us .5 seconds into free agency that nothing would happen.

I am saying that they are clearly not going to pay the luxury tax, so they are going to have to work to dump some of those contracts to get under

This would actually be a decent refualr season team. Can absorb injuries and if they develop a running style will win some games off of effort.
