I didn't like it. But I can understand why he did it. It just didn't work out and Hawkins is just awful. I don't see any teams making a move for him at this point. I keep seeing the deal with the Grizzlies and I don't understand why they would do it, especially for some random 2nds. They already have like 20 players and have to waive/cut a bunch. If I was the Grizzlies GM I'd want at least a 1st swap. I wouldn't help us out.
Any truth to us pursuing MPJ? The Nets can still eat salary. I'd love for us to trade Poole and pieces (plus picks) for MPJ..

I think you start Grant over Zion tbh to give us more floor spacing. Let Zion run the 2nd unit w Fears. Spacing matters less on bench units. Just put your fast and strong talent out there.

Why would they do that?
Would they save some money in 2027 on the last yr of grant's contract?
I guess they would be getting off almost 36 mil of grant in 27.

Apparently, contract with Mathurin came in slightly lower. We are $4m under lux tax right now.
