David Griffin says Pelicans as an organization have had 3 players with positive COVID tests but won’t comment on who that is.

Those players are in self isolation and are being tested daily, those players can return to the team after two days of negative tests.

If I had to guess, Lonzo would be one of them.

Welp.

I’m glad Griff seems optimistic that they are doing well.

Lonzo definitely has to be 1 he was always posting pics and videos with people on IG during the lockdown.

Not Josh Hart since he was playing at City Park South yesterday and not Zion.

As more players test positive the closer they are to resuming the season, it’s increasingly looking like a train wreck waiting to happen.

Working to confirm this with the NBA now...

But I do believe that the 3 Pelicans that tested positive ARE part of the 16 players the league said tested positive last week.

Don't believe these are in addition to those 16.

I'd rather not have Zion have to stay away from the facility for two weeks. Risk of catching COVID in Florida < risk of flabby Zion

That’s good news. If they tested positive last week and were mostly asymptomatic, they should be good to go within 10 days of that test/last symptom.

Not that it really matters on who it is but we know it's not Hart, JJ, or Zion at this point.

My guess is Favors, Zo, and Hayes. All have been at protests or posting pictures. Most others have been fairly isolated.

You cant get Covid from protesting with strangers. Latoya says it is probably from not following social distancing while in your back yard during a family gathering. It is science.

I think that the two of them are golfing together today, so they definitely are OK.

Ingram posted himself today outside saying he was back in New Orleans and the heat was crazy. Don’t think it’s him.

Definitely think Zo is one.

But also the tests were from the 23rd. And said they’re to be isolated until they get two days in a row of negative tests. I know the time line is usually about 14 days or what ever. But if they were not showing symptoms could they have been had it and then tested play towards the end of what would have been two weeks and then been cleared by now? Probably not I know.
