a name on that list that we haven't talked about at all is Dejounte Murray, who supposedly could be had this offseason
His 3 point shooting has been erratic to say the least.
He didn't play much his first year. He didn't shoot much his 2nd year, and didn't shoot well. Was hurt his 3rd year. Next year as a starter shot 37% on just 1.7 attempts per game. this past year he shot 32% on 3 attempts per game.
If you're looking for a guy that would come in and just control the offense and let Zion/BI/NAW do the scoring, while he sets them up and plays good D, Murray might be someone to look at acquiring, especially if you think you can get him to improve his 3 point shot. He's a 80% FT shooter. He shot 31% on catch and shoot 3's last year, but was 40% the year before.
also, think about those potential assists from Sexton, now think about him passing the ball to Zion or BI instead of a Cavs player.

The pair of Dejounte Murray and Derrick White "could both be gettable" in trades with the San Antonio Spurs, according to The Athletic's Zach Harper.

That's a pretty mediocre offer to be honest. If this is what their aggressive offer is, Cleveland isn't going to get much in return for him.

I'm pretty sure a leak about an aggressive offer came from Cleveland to try and drive up the price. I'm sure they are trying to sell that as 3 positive assets: 2 prospects and a pick. as opposed to Bledsoe and a pick, or even Kira, Bledsoe and a pick.
That leak doesn't necessarily mean New York is in the lead, it usually just means they're trying to get more out of other interested parties.

Remember when some assclowns on this board thought that Kevin Knox could be a center piece for the AD trade?

I like Murray. White is a good backup guard.
I wonder how available Lonnie Walker is.

lonnie walker just screams "guy who can put up 20+ on a bad team"...but has screamed it for 2 years and still got so-so production in SA

Facilitate Benny Simmons to Minny and we get Malik Beasley.

we have Malik Beasley already in NAW.

I don't want Beasley with his offcourt nonsense.

I’m pretty sure if we were willing to take back Love as well we would best most offers too.

Good, we need 3 Beasleys

I would rather Kennard over Pat Bev.

Gawk all you want, but we would still have significant assets available for a potential move at the deadline or in the next offseason with Love and Adams contracts available. I think you have to hope they can be at least useful players this year.
I would also like Kennard, but you can draft someone like Kispert for that role. And losing Ball, Bledsoe, and Kira you would need another Ball Handler/decent shooter to play with second units while being a spot starter who can help close out games. Beverly would help for this year at least in that regard, and not taking on Kennard let’s you re-sign Hart who you could say is a more versatile and useful player.

reading about how aggressive the Knicks are being with Sexton makes me think that we won't be willing to top them.
They are ready to make a big move to try and get to the next level.

Which is why we go ahead and set up the sign and trade with Lonzo to get them out of the Sexton bidding.

According to the other thread, the Knicks weren’t named as a potential suitor for Lonzo.
