Money talks, bullshite walks.

Personally, I think the Kings are trying to play this up a bit so they get the best S&T from us they can.

Personally, I think Vasquez would do very well on that team.

The Kings had so much talent. It must be frustrating to be a fan.

shite you never lying, fun to play with on the game because of that fact but they're just terrible outside of that.

I hope Malone can turn it down over there and Evans is smart enough to come down here

Yet he's going to be okay being behind Jrue, Anthony and probably Eric?

He's coming in as a backup. In Sacramento they handed him the keys to the franchise when they shipped out KMart and then a year later they told him to turn in his keys when they drafted Crazy Cousins. Totally different situations and expectations on his part.

If we don't get him it's defenetly not the end of the world. I'm about 50/50 on this offer because of how much were offering and because we are just replacing backcourt players instead of filling a position of need. It's always exciting to have your team in all the trade talks and obtaining a new player but this isn't a make or break for the Pelicans. We would have a big 5 which is hard to believe, in (Davis, gordon, ryno, jrue, tyreke)not sure any other team can say that if this trade pans out.

I think it's understood that if he accepts the offer here, he will most definitely get time at the 3. He has a legitimate chance at backing up 3 positions.

No GM is going to publicly say they are shopping a player who has had zero issues so far to prop up the value and keep the guy happy in case he stays(see Odom and Lakers).

Also, focus more on the system used in New Orleans than the `positions' from some system that is not.

What the NOLA system will be, we don't know, but it will cater to the talent.

He made it clear he doesn't want to play the 3 and he doesnt excel at the 3 so is this a guy we want to throw 44mil at? Why not pay a true 3 that kind of money or get a decent 3 and center for the price of evans. Just thoughts not saying i hate getting tyreke by any stretch because i have trust in demps.

When did he make this clear? I've seen one twitter post about it, is there a quote from Evans about this?

Aldridge said last night they said he could meet with another eastern team after Atlanta. He seems to be shopping our offer. We need to tell him to shite or get off the pot.

This is not true. He may not want to but he has not come out and said that. There's been one random tweet.

He is a ball hog and has gotten worse every year that he has played in the league. You are still trying to force a sg/pg into a role he is not comfortable with whether he said it or not his game exists in the backcourt handling the ball at some level. I know you want to defend the decision i get that I find myself always doing the same but is this really something we should put 44mil into.. probably not.

I'm not defending the decision, just saying that I don't think they're offering him the money if he's adamant about not playing the 3. All I can do is trust Demps.

I honestly think Tyreke Evans is oozing with potential. If he gets in the right situation around some good players and leaders, I believe he could be better than what his Sacramento numbers say. Just my opinion though. What the hell do I know.

I watched like 30 mins of Tyreke highlights and did not see him dunk one time. That is incredibly strange for a player of Evans athleticism. Hell, there is even a video titled "Tyreke Evans, King of the Lay-up"

ETA: And then I found this

This.

I'm withholding judgment on this move until we see what else happens between now and the opening night.

This move on its own is questionable, but surely it won't be the last move we make.
