Not a bad idea unless you really love someone at 10.

For optics reasons it'd have to be Bledsoe if you trade with OKC.

One thing you can do if you trade with OKC, is bring back Kenny Hustle. He's got 2 more years at $2 million per, so he and Naji would give you a lot of bench production cheaply for under $4 million combined. Then you could feel pretty comfortable doing a S&T of Hart for a shooter or ball handler.

I think he said we would then take those later picks and try to trade them for future firsts for someone who wants to get back into the first round. Similar to what we did with the trade with Denver last year.

He posted one with OKC that was 10 for 16 or 18 and Dort. I'd be all over that.

This draft's 3rd tier seems to end around 7/8. I don't see a ton of difference between 9 and 20 something. Names we've been throwing around at 10 could be there at 16 - 18, just like Saddiq Bey and Maxey dropped to 19 and 21 this year.

Would you really be upset if instead of Kira we had Bey or Maxey and a future 1st?

I mean yeah. That’s an easy yes. Also no chance okc puts that on the table. They love Dort.

That was a better draft.

I've been saying this. I almost would rather 2 bites at the apple this year if I'm picking 10th.

I'll take 16 and 17 and a player for 10.

100% agree

I said that Presti bent over Griff in that trade last year to plenty of downvotes. If he’d send him right back in that deal it woukd be Presti finishing bukake style on Griff to finish and come full circle…...

Getting 16 and 18 back for 10 and Adams isn’t bad tbh

Adams is worth 1-2 negative firsts at this point and

10, 16, 18 all pretty much the same thing in this draft. There are a lot of talented players or players that can fit into certain roles. It just depends on what each team needs and how they value them. For instance, I’ve seen Davion rated as high as 5 on one draft board and 30 on another. That’s just one example of one player’s variance.

That would be a hell of a trade for us even if the optics are bad. I say screw the optics and send that trade in now if it’s on the table. I mean it also makes sense from OKC’s perspective if they like a certain player in the draft and want to guarantee they get him, They have like 800 picks in the next 6 years. They are going to need to combine some of those picks to either trade for better picks or disgruntled players in the trade market, because it’s not like you can carry more than 12 legit pieces/prospects on a roster from year to year.

Lol WTF!? Last off-season all we heard was how bad that draft was after the first couple players, and how next year (this draft) was "one of the deepest drafts in long time"

Now suddenly this draft sucks after #3 and last year was the homerun

Who do we look at in that range ?

Davion Mitchell is the most oft cited at 10, and seems to be a fit here.

I am going to strongly advocate for Herb Jones out of Alabama, with one our second round picks. Jones and Mitchell this year, combined with Najeh Marshall's wing defensive mind set, our defense will improvd.

David Duke, among others, cited for one of our second on DraftNet.

Things change. Even draft experts have begun talking about how last years draft was much deeper, lotto to early 20’s wise. This draft is better at the top, and probably deeper when you start talking about players that will be available in the 2nd round, but in our draft range last seasons draft was much better.

Needs are irrelevant in the nba draft picking at 10.

You take whatever player you think can be a player.

Moses Moody should be the pick if we are being honest. 6’5 with good size and broad shoulders. 7’0 wingspan. Only 19 so he can still improve. Nice floor as a 3&D wing.

Adams is a negative. Bledsoe is a negative. Lonzo and Hart may be about to leave unless they are overpaid. So WTF has the GM done but give us tons of 2nd round picks and some future 1st rounders from contenders?

I wanted Bey. as PelsTDGM

I got it right.

there are good players at 10.

do your due diligence.
there will be keepers.

and yes use all the 2nds.
try. shooters and mighty defenders.

We don't have 5 roster spots.

There is no world in which we actually make 5 draft picks. It isn't going to happen.

He also had been beating the drum for a while that Griffin would trade the pick which is why I assume you are so adamant about it being traded.

No it's about having more future picks to use in a trade, not use them to draft players.

I have been saying that for awhile before I ever saw Crewz say it.

Its not because I want Griffin to trade it. I'm just saying that my personal belief is that he will try everything in his power to trade it.

Because that just makes sense from Griffin's perspective.

And its only gotten worse. His arse is on the line. He needs to win right the frick now.
