Good teams tend to have good depth. Sometimes it seems like people want the Pels to get the roster down to 9 real NBA players. How is that what we should be aiming for?

I think consolidating or trading depth for draft assets is fine but I agree, we don’t HAVE to trade guys, depth is a good thing

Because honestly Willie cant manage the rotation. Thats the main reason.

Come playoff time, you want 8-9 guys you know you can ride with. Not indecision on guys 8-11.

Not saying depth is a bad thing, but I'd rather we know who the guys are.

Im wondering if we go after anyone in buyout market. Would we sign a good vet pg for playoffs like Dinwiddie or Lowry? Someone who can settle offense down when needed? We have the roster spots.

I don't disagree on principle with this statement, but sometimes there's more than one way to answer a question. Willie has the team on a 48 win pace, they are 8th in NetRtg and 6th in Point Differential in the league.

By all measures the Pels have played very well this season and most people on this board, myself included, act like Willie is doing it wrong because he's not doing it the way they'd like it done.

And before anyone says the Pels are out talenting teams and winning in spite of Willie, people have complained more about how un-star-like the Pels most talented players have played all season than how Willie has coached. And people have complained about Willie's coaching a lot.

We need to upgrade Zeller. The fact that we were willing to let Plumlee and Zubac score at will down low by playing small once Jonas went out was very telling.

If that wasn't a time for Zeller to come in and give you some rebounds and fouls, then there is never a time beyond garbage time for him to get in the game, so really, what's the point of him?

Willie absolutely deserves credit. That being said the over reliance on Naji minutes over much better players is absolutely ridiculous and valid criticism.

I don’t disagree with upgrading Zeller, but I liked that Willie didn’t let the other team dictate our lineup. It was likely because Zeller isn’t going to handle them and JV was out. Zion feasted on those two goons.

The key last night was their effective team rebounding. We didn't get destroyed on the boards when JV left which is rare for us and allowed us to dictate lineups.

I think this was one of Willie’s better coaching moments personally. He basically said with JV out I’ll go with Zion and Nance’s athleticism over Zeller and made clippers adjust to them. I don’t think it’s because Zeller is a bad player- I mean hes our third center.

Give me Chris Paul.

Id absolutely take Dejounte but if the price is too high, I’ll take CP3 for less.

On an expiring, fills a need, gives us the attitude we need going into the playoffs.

He pulls our team together for that stretch run.

I’d like to know what GS would want for him.

Dinwiddie has either been pouting all year or he is beyond washed. I wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole.

Lowry is fine if we want to go that route.

I would agree.

maybe somewhat, i agree, but Nance was able to do ok against Zubac, and Plumlee committed 5 fouls on Zion in the span of 6 minutes and fouled out early in the 4th, adn the few times he didnt' foul him, Zion was scoring on him anyway.
We need to do more of that. We should be the team dictating lineups, not our opponents.
