I rather just take a chance on Willie Reed than Papa G.

Pass. Not keen on the suspension.

Reed has young legs and a is a ferocious rebounder. This team needs that. He’s appealing the suspension and the Pels have shown reluctance for bringing in off court drama so while I think he’d be a decent pick up it’s unlikely.

The guy I'm really hoping gets bought out is Dewayne Dedmon. He could "start" at the 5 to let Rondo and Mirotic come off the bench. Would create a bit more flexibility with their rotations.

Starting 5

Jrue, Moore, Hill, AD, Dedmon

Bench

Rondo, Liggins, Miller, Niko, Diallo, Clark, Vaughn or guard buyout

Finishing 5

Jrue, Moore, Hill, Niko, AD (this lineup is very intriguing).

He isn't getting bought out. He has a player option for next year, meaning the agent would ask for the moon. Talked to a guy in their FO yesterday and Belly is possible but Dedmon aint happening

Mike.
Still think that Frye is at the top of Pels buyout list?

Diaw maybe? He has NBA out in his deal

Frye is #1. But Dell isn't just waiting on that market and hoping someone signs with the Pels. Also looking all over G League and Europe too

I hope this is the route we take. Get someone hungry with energy looking for their break who we can lock in to an non-guaranteed minimum for next year. Hope to uncover a diamond in the rough role player that can provide cheap depth.

Frye would be nice, but we would have major competition if he is bought out and we cannot bring him back so makes recruiting him that much more difficult.

It's not unprecedented to pull in useful players from the GLeague at this point. Demps has done it the last 3 years. BDJ, Ennis, Crawford.

I love the spark those guys gave the Clippers.

The question is: Will Gentry have the balls to play them?

I really like your Christian Wood rec. I thought he had a chance to get some run and turn into something w/ the Bobcats but he never got a chance

As for a "lighting in a bottle" guy, Marcus Thornton steady lurkin in the G League 41% from 3 with 8 attempts per game

eta by bobcats i mean hornets

Marco Belinelli is finalizing a buyout agreement with the Atlanta Hawks, league sources tell ESPN. Several contenders are interested.
