Lillard would have to say he doesn't want to be there anymore, and i can't see that happening.
We don't have the assets to trade for him regardless, and i'd rather McCollum, even though we need a PG.
I think a McCollum/Jrue PG/SG combo would be awesome.
I'd rather McCollum over any of the SF that are available for trade/FA.

Lillard did say the player he wants to play with more than anyone else is AD. Just a thought
If Lillard leaves Portland it will probably be via trade and I think he'll get a higher price than the Pels can offer.

Probably about half of that list is out of reach, but crazier things have happened in this league.
Ohhh I see--you guys have much more faith in us being able to attract a big name guy in FA than I do.

#Twolves All-Star Jimmy Butler has officially turned down the Wolves' 4-year, $110M range extension offer, per owner Glen Taylor.

Most big time players turn down the extension as they can make more money generally re-signing with the team the next summer.

You'd start to question if he's gonna even stay if Wiggins and Kat don't put in the work to improve their defense

Good. I'm glad he is leaving that complacent and disappointing pair of players. Butler is all about the game while KAT is busy working on his fortnite building skills and Wiggins on what new braids design to do next. The wolves make me sick.

I never understood why butler wanted back in with Thibodeau
that said declining the extension is SOP for max players, he will get on the 1 or 2 plus 1 train like everyone else

Napier to the Nets. Interesting...wonder if we can swing for Carroll and Dinwiddie now...

Sacramento is finalizing a trade to send forward Garrett Temple to Memphis for Ben McLemore, Deyonta Davis and cash, league sources tell ESPN.
That's disappointing. I was hoping Temple would get bought out and be someone the Pels could pick up, if they trade a guard during the season.

Odd trade for Sacramento bringing back Davis...they have a logjam in the front court.

They swapped $8 million worth of expiring money that isn't in their long term plans for $7 million worth of expiring money and cash. They made $1 million plus how ever much cash Memphis gave them and freed up minutes for their younger guys that are in their long term plans.

I’d not heard that
why would the kings want Ryan Anderson?

Speculation is based on the numbers. With the Temple trade, the Kings now have $20.5M in space available. Ryno just happens to make $20.4M and is from Sacramento.
However, I just do not see what Houston could give to Sacramento to take on $41M. Perhaps this trade was not made to clear space, but to just get free cash and do right by Temple who would have to sit for Bagley, Giles, Skal...
They could also be a Melo buyout destination.
