Just because we talked about Lin yesterday. Looking like they want picks. Anyone think they would take Ajinca, Diallo, Liggins, and a 2nd?

Give nets anjica and the pels 2021 first. Get back lin and nets 2020 2nd.

I'm still hoping diallo is learning the game.

Makes sense for Brooklyn as it would clear up some room on their roster. On the flip side, I think this means they want to keep Dinwiddie.

Does OKC have any picks to give? I thought they traded away their 2020 1st rounder (which means I think they cannot trade the 2019 or 2021 1st rounder).

If Pels wanted Lin, OKC would gladly give him to us for Ajinca and Okafor.

They would just buy out and stretch Lin after the trade. Cost them way less to buyout and stretch Ajinca and Okafor

Would Lin even be a good fit anymore? His injury history scares me. Maybe it would be better to let OKC buy him out and we sign him on the cheap to keep Ajinca trades alive.

I don't think he's any better than Devin Harris or Jarrett Jack at this point. And you can get those guys at the min.

Only good reason to get him is to use as an expiring in February. And good play he gives you would be gravy

That makes sense and I remember the Pels wanted him a couple of years ago.

FOH

I’m starting to think you’re trolling with some of these takes.

What I still fail to understand is what would Cleveland get from agreeing to sign and trade Hood?

If all the Pels are doing is giving up is 7 to 9M in ungaranteed contracts and a 2nd why would they bother?

Is it because Hood hasnt signed his QO yet?

I still think his agent is using the Pels as leverage for another team.

If you were Cleveland, would you rather have:

a) Rodney Hood sign his QO and leave you next year

b) Darius Miller and a nice sized TPE to use over the next year

In their position, B would be the obvious choice for me

Would they have to give up Miller?

Could it be Liggins and Crawford and a 2nd instead?

It could, but I am sure the Cavs would rather have a useful player and a TPE vs just a TPE

If we get Hood, our free agent season should be considered a success (even with Boogie and Rondo leaving). Then we could round out the roster with a few minimum contracts. I agree, Harris would be a nice add (if we can't get IT somehow for cheap). We also could use a backup C, like Monroe or Jahlil Okafor.

What's the deal with Len? He would seem like a nice backup on this team.

Len would be nice but I doubt he would take the minimum. If he would, I would take him over Monroe or Jahlil.
