Taking Schroeder would depend highly on the cost. Like his game. Price would need to be cheap though.

I don’t believe that shite. Schroeder is a terrible fit, he’s not a good shooter, not high IQ, terrible defender. He’s an okay backup PG with a felony assault charge being paid like a premium starter. He’s really immature and I hear universally hated in the Hawks locker room . Atlanta has been trying to ditch the guy for over a year now.

i said in another thread, schroeder is a really expensive version of Elrid, on a more structured team w/ a better offensive system

Any disucussions with the Wiz about Sato or Wolves about Tyus? I know Dell has coveted Tyus in the past and he has to want out with Thibs re-signing Derrick Rose.

I'm not completely against Schroder, while I'm not a huge fan, the dude has some upside at 24 years old. Plus he'd slide into a role as, at the very best, the 4th or 5th best player on the team.

As for his personality, this is where AD, Jrue, & co. would need to be leaders and set this dude straight if he got out of line.

I would bet heavily against a major move. Its just so much better to buy in February. Maybe a guy the level of Bazemore or Carrol gets done, but even that I doubt. Teams are just in denial right now.

Denial about how good their team is. A lot of teams think they can make the playoffs in November. Reality seeps in a couple months later.

You typically don’t see much trade action at this point in the year unless a star demands a trade. The Kawhi situation has the ability to possibly shake some things loose (something is going to happen with Philly), but after the draft and a week of free agency, teams are usually at peace with where they are until games are played and reality smacks them in the face.
