He’s worth betting on as a flier. The guy is like 23 and was on a terrible team without an identity. I think he’s worth the risk at the BAE

i dont think so.

the only argument for signing a big is that they offer a rarer skill set (shooting/switchability). there is no utility to signing a 5th or, god forbid, a 6th big right now. in this market, you can find a minimum guy off the street during the season who can offer something

money is much better spent on perimeter creators, shooters, and/or size

I agree the money should be spent on wings but we can't go into the season with Diallo as our third big.
I'm the biggest dont spend money on bigs guy out there.

yeah. i get that. i thought he showed some signs of life down the stretch. Okafor looked frisky as well.

just think that if they can't get ~30 combined minutes at the 5 from those 2, then this team is broken anyway. i'd rather take that bet early on than use the meager $$ available for another big

I would think that means they don’t have enough money for Boogie now unless they did a sign and trade. So it’s a good thing for the pels.

The Lakers aren't going hard after Boogie. Never were. They talked to him to see if they can get bargain basement, but the Pels aren't worried. It all comes down to structure, incentives, and options.

Shams Charania - @ShamsCharania: Sources: Free agent center Nerlens Noel has narrowed decision on signing to these teams: The Wizards, Lakers, Thunder --- with interest from the Pelicans.

KCP is somwhat odd. He’s a SG/SF and they now have Lebron, Kuzma and Ingram. Guess you can’t have enough guys like that though. I guess Kuzma is more of a 3/4 than a 2/3.

Holliday for Noel and still end up with both would be pretty funny
