We added James Borrego and Cody Zeller to a team that couldn’t get in the playoffs. We still have fans here thinking we were number one in west in December so its ok. EVERYONE IN WEST ADDED GUYS TO GET BETTER. We’re gonna get a reality check.

Like others have said I’m not going to panic over a preseason game. Even if we suck the next two games I’m not panicking. But this first quarter of the season is crucial wirh how many home games we have. We can’t start slow. From January to early February 13 out of 18 games are going to be on the road.

Heres what worries me: BI still taking midrange shots in offense and not caring about 3s, not getting the ball to Zion while he sits in the corner, JV not getting the ball, Naji absolutely going ham and throwing up trash. Like what the frick is this shite????!

According to the box score. Some guy for Houston named Matthew Mayer played 43 minutes and had 0s across the line. 0 shots 0 points. Absolutely nothing. If that's accurate that's pretty damn impressive.

The majority of posts in this thread have been level headed. I think you can agree that it is alarming that Zion played 17 min and had one shot in the first half. I don’t think anyone should be jumping off the bandwagon but tonight was a major cause for concern. Let’s hope Willie, along with the entire organization, is smart enough to identify the issues and change course. You are right, it is just preseason game 2. There is time.

I have to wonder if people actually watched the game. Why are people acting like Zion got iced out? He got plenty touches, then would immediately get rid of the ball. He clearly made a decision that he had no interest in shooting tonight.

I’d rather we get rid of Zion and Griff than Willie if it isn’t working.
Zion and Griff have been the main issues here. And whoever is frickin drafting Kira Lewis over Tyrese Maxey. And Passing on Garland to get Goofball Jax and Leg Sleeve NAW. Maybe that’s Langdon.
In all honesty the reset should’ve happened during the draft. We had Scoot in our hands, but Greedy Griff wouldn’t do the deal without Shaedon Sharpe, which resulted in Portland not doing the deal unless Herb Jones or Trey Murphy was included (which is an obvious no go on our end)
