Yep thats why we have to get it done this offseason. I imagine cap space teams like Orlando, San Antonio and Detroit were offering Quickly a lot which drove up the price for toronto

Cleveland has already said they’re paying him a max for some reason.

That's a mistake, he's not good enough offensively for a max.

Dallas has traded Tim Hardaway Jr. and three second-round picks to Detroit for Quentin Grimes, sources tell ESPN.

Damn I liked grimes on the Knicks. That's a good get for Dallas. Their GM has been on a roll

The Houston Rockets are expected to show interest in Zion Williamson, Devin Booker and Donovan Mitchell, per @sam_amick & @anthonyVslater

“So, who are the Rockets interested in as franchise centerpiece material? League sources say that Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell (who is 27 and widely expected to sign an extension with the Cavs soon), the Suns’ Devin Booker (also 27) and New Orleans’ Zion Williamson (23) would all fit the bill. The only problem, of course, is that none of them are expected to be available anytime soon.”

I intend to show interest in Christina Hendricks, Isla Fisher, and Deborah Woll. And probably be about as successful as the Rockets this season.

If we ever did trade Zion, Houston would be my top choice, they have a ton of young guys I like and some juicy picks from the suns

Refreshing to hear, especially when Zion is being placed in the same category as those other 2.

Is there any legitimate doubt that we will be extending Trey this offseason? I see literally zero reason not to do it. He’s an integral part of our future and he will likely take a slight discount to lock in generational wealth. Would be organizational malpractice not to get it done

Only reason not to do it would be depending on what our cap situation looks like to lock in a point and center.

Once the roster is relatively locked in and we know what apron we are at, Trey should be offered a great extension that makes both sides happy.

It all hinges on how the BI saga plays out. If they extend Ingram for some reason, I can't imagine Murphy and his camp will be happy knowing there's no path for him to start.

Any Trey extension wouldn’t kick in until next season so there’s no reason tk wait as it has no bearing on the salary cap for this season

Us announcing that BI is staying and then Trey requesting a trade would be the most Pels thing ever.

Griff has the chance to make 99% of the fans happy, sell out season tickets and secure his job for the next 5 years. Does he have the balls to do it?
