Miles Bridges is similar to how Tyus is viewd on here.
Can't really argue the players abilities or making our roster "better".
Does the fit, money, etcc work out?
At the end of the day its a value argument. Both those guys have high value but don't really have a market at the moment.
Its the (2) best value assets we could acquire and either fit in the sytem or trade for more assets at a limited cost.
Bridges would fit great on this team if Trey was our starting Center. That's about it.
But if we can get 1-2 picks now and then flip him for another 2-3 picks while getting someone who fits just a bit better than BI? Certainly not an emd of the world situation.

Bridges to a third team in that scenario makes more sense IMO. Wonder if the Jazz would have some interest…?

There is nothing comparable between Bridges and Tyus Jones in any way as far as who we acquire.
We have a good starting pg and a good backup pg. we have zero interest in replacing Jose, so stop talking about it. You are literally the only person that has this idea.

What do you consider a pinch?
We will have CJ's salary to move if we have to next offseason.
This was also my exact point above meaning if you take in a Bridges or ____ then you can ship them out for assets if you get in that pinch.

I would think the Hornets would be targeting smaller quick guards to pair with Ball. Alvarado would be an awesome player for them and could start..

We’re losing 3 wing players dumbass. They need to be replaced. Bridges plays the wing, and he just had a season with numbers across the board very similar to BI.

I think Miller especially with his game is really flexible- he could probably play the 2 or 3 sort of like Herb. BI is mostly a 3 but in certain situations could slide down to 4. Again in todays NBA, its easy for players to play different positions. Salaun is a project and highly doubt he starts.

I believe they want Miller at the 3, but playing some 4. They project him like Paul George, so I guess he can play some 2. But I honestly see Ball as their 2 (but the primary distributor). Williams can play 2-5.
It seems to come down to if they resign Bridges. I would think they have to, since they have so much cap space. Otherwise where do they spend it? I just don't know about the fit of Miller, Ingram and Ball.

No doubt. But I think he plays a lot. High ceiling kid. The team isn't trying to compete (I don't think), so they are focused on development. Do they take in Ingram just for asset collection to flip later?

Depends on how much he wants to get paid honestly. Hes a great backup pg but he wont cheap. We also have a decent backup pg who is pretty cheap. I just don’t think he’s a need necessarily.

As mentioned earlier, the top priorities in order are starting center, backup center, backup PF, backup point.
Filling those first three certainly is more important than upgrading from GTA.

100% agree.
Now if Hawk is legit and/or if CJ takes a step back next year then Tyus + Murray + Hawk would be a powerful trio going forward.
Worst case scenario is that you trade Tyus for assets next year because he has value.
Best case scenario is Hawk+ Tyus play so well that it make it an easy decision to move CJs contract.
