Which is true.
That’s not a conspiracy theory. I was expecting something like Silver gave us Zion in exchange for us not trading AD to the Lakers so as to send a message to players that they only get to dictate where they go in free agency.

The Pels aren't in a rush, they are just wanting to drum up more interest around the league. Why do they need to do a deal before draft day? The offers aren't going to lower as we get closer.

Exactly. They need to offer it all and we can reroute pieces we don’t want elsewhere.
