Happy for Jose to head to better situation and a franchise with longevity. Feel bad for Dalen Terry as his career is over when a team sends you to the Pels.
The cash element is laughable and really a subsidy for a poverty franchise.
All in all we probably got fleeced but not enough to get too upset as we’re a 20 something win franchise rest of decade.

Drafting is perhaps the only good quality of our management so getting 2 seconds and an expiring contract is not a bad move.
Also as others mentioned we will need picks to offload Poole next season and most probably he would have declined the option and asked for a new contract in the summer.
And this is a fricking awesome trade for one of the most beloved players and he deserves it.

Teams wanting Herb or Trey will have more picks available in the summer.
Only realistic options were Jose and Missi. Bey is with too good of contract to trade him for anything less than a top 20 pick this year or couple of firsts in the future.

Of all the trades to not make this was the one to not fricking make.
Acting like Jose was going to leave is such a weak frick defeatist attitude. Dude loves it here. Hes fricking loyal, something this org does everything in its power to piss away.

Why does everyone want to trade Missi? Hes a raw player that needs time to develop. This team has nothing but time, we not going anywhere anytime soon. It’s like Dejavu with DD.
We shoujd be looking for players to trade for similar to Missi. Guys with potential that need mins to possibly develop into something we could use or trade up on.
It’s why this team is a dumpster fire. We buy high on guys that sink once they get on our team and sell low on our players.
