Not many. Sometimes there's added value when you watch a guy become one of those listed above. I'd keep BI over most. Only if we're somehow getting The Greek Freak, Leonard, PG, Luka, The Joker or Ja I would let him go.

In no specific order:

Morant
Luka
Harden, reluctantly because I hate his game
AD
Curry
Booker, only because Booker and Zion together could be unstoppable offensively
Kawhi
Lillard
Kemba
Giannis

While you all are compiling your trade candidates unless your Steph Curry or Kobe Bryant the best player on the champion team are all forwards. Only guard currently that has capability currently is Luca.

2019 Toronto Raptors – Kawhi Leonard (SF)
2018 Golden State Warriors – Kevin Durant (SF)
2017 Golden State Warriors – Kevin Durant (SF)
2016 Cleveland Cavaliers – LeBron James (SF)
2015 Golden State Warriors – Steph Curry (PG)
2014 San Antonio Spurs – Kawhi Leonard (SF)
2013 Miami Heat – LeBron James (SF)
2012 Miami Heat – LeBron James (SF)
2011 Dallas Mavericks – Dirk Nowitski (PF)
2010 Los Angeles Lakers – Kobe Bryant (SG)
2009 Los Angeles Lakers – Kobe Bryant (SG)

He's the one I was thinking that I don't think had been posted on page 1.

Booker is legit.

Replace Kemba with Klay and I’d agree.

Not a fan of Booker. Great stats, horrible defender. King of empty stats.

Brandon Ingram can be described similarly.

BI is a below avg defender, and his stats aren't exactly leading to big winning this season...13 game losing streak and all.

He's been better than Ingram this season, and at least for now his team has a better record while his supporting cast isn't as good as BI right now.

That list, plus:

KAT
Simmons
Kyrie
Ayton
Collins
Kemba
Shia
Fox

So it’s closer to 30 than 40. The first or 2nd year guys are just because of the cheap deal.

I know why the hell Kemba? He’s like 30 now and small. He will be worthless in 4 years. Same for LeBron, Butler, to old. If I’m trading BI, the player has to be no older than mid 20’s.

I’m not trading BI for any big man. Wings hold way more value. Kemba literally makes no sense.

30 players over Ingram is ridiculous. Good thing you aren’t a GM

There's no way that Kawhi's knees last five more years. Zero chance.

I’d take that bet. Another cold take from GOP Tiger. And even if they didn’t, I’d rather 3 definite years of Kawhi at an elite level right now than maybe a chance BI gets to be that good

Hey, on this website, you get what you pay for. If you want expert commentary, maybe subscribe to The Athletic or something.

I started posting here a lot more after the lottery, and I've been honest that I am not a basketball expert -- that I don't understand the sport as well as I'd like. Part of my posting so much here is that my bad takes get called out, and I learn.

That might have been true prior to this season, but there honestly isn’t much gap between Ingram and Booker anymore defensively and Booker has welcomed the challenge of guarding opposing teams best players. And in that context his individual defensive numbers like DFG% are slightly better than Ingram almost across the board. Ingram has a 113 defensive rating, Booker 110. Things actually get even stronger for Booker if we just narrow it down to the post 13 game losing streak like some might think to do.

Gotta be lots of trolls in here.

BI is only 22 with elite size. He shoots with a very high % from 3 and the stripe. He may never be All NBA D but he has often been asked to play out of position on D this year...he needs more time to put on weight and strength to really be able to do that. With his size and ability, he can easily be a capable defender and probably overlooked at the moment, he has versatility to guard multiple positions better than most.

He looks like he could be the best #2 on any team within 3 years and possibly a #1 for more than half the teams. Once this team gels, I think his true value will shine.

Is Luka really a guard in your opinion? He's as much of a guard as LeBron is.

ETA: in what world would someone have Tatum over Ingram at this point in time? I understand that Tatum was valued over Ingram in the offseason because of injury concerns, but now that we've seen that Ingram is fine, I don't know how you can compare the two and say that Tatum is better.
