I'd rather spend the entire warcheast on SGA than sign Lowry or Dinwiddie.

Agree, but not sure the entire warchest would be enough.

I wouldn’t include Naw or Hayes, simply because I don’t think you would need to.

Kira and we can trade up to 9-1st I believe. Would trade all Lakers picks, some of ours and try to hold on to those far in the future Bucks swap options.

Sigh and trade Lonzo for Robinson.

SGA
Robinson
Ingram
Zion
Jonas

NAW
Hart
Marshall
Hayes

Any trade for SGA would have to start with Ingram.

No it wouldn’t. What would be the point from OKCs perspective?

They are similar players statswise and basically the same age. We wouldn’t have to include much else to bridge the gap in the trade. Why wouldn’t OKC just keep the slightly younger guy if that’s the case.

Because he quietly wants out of OKC.

The Pistons are crazy to not take that offer. SGA and Grant, plus their other young pieces is a playoff team in the East.

We don't have anything that OKC wants at this time. They don't want Ingram (too expensive) and Zion would fight his way out, wouldn't be worth the headache. SGA is a future star. I wish we could do something to get him..

If our war chest isn’t enough, SGA isn’t getting traded at all. But you don’t give up naw, Hayes, Kira, and a bunch of picks for SGA.

If they don’t bite on Kira and a ridiculous amount of picks, oh well.

Do you think OKC wants all those firsts and just Kira?
At some point you just have too many picks

If they want Ingram honestly I’m down to swap him for SGA. But I don’t know why OKC would want to do that deal.

If they’re looking to blow it up even more, then they’ll probably value quantity of picks and promising young guys that fit their timeline.

I get that but they’re not going to want to just turn SGA into Ingram.

Because if Ingram is on a team with no one else he’s going to want out too.

If they’re really blowing it up then they’ll want young guys who are still developing so that they suck while they learn and get the best possible picks.

They’re not going to want guys to come in and make them better and just drag up their picks slightly like what happened this year to them.

Exactly, you don’t trade SGA for an Ingram to be the main asset coming back. If SGA is available, they’ll want picks and Year 1 or 2 guys back.

And this brings me back to a 3 team trade with OKC, Pels, and CLE.

If our options are really Lowry or Dinwiddie then we need to try and get SGA/ Sexton.

You have Dort, Love, SGA, Sexton, Nance Jr, Prince, Kira, Hayes, etccc and alot of picks to make deals happen. Throw in a 4th team and its a party.

Houston, maybe.

There aren't that many younger guys on the level of SGA so finding that asset to offer OKC isn't that available around the league. It's going to have to be picks.

I think Cade is a unique situation b/c he's from OK. I don't think they'd be pushing to get #1 in most years unless a Zion-level guy was available.
