It's going to be close.

1.5 games back and we own the tiebreaker after the dub last night, but they appear to have the easier schedule down the stretch.

It'd be huge to have homecourt advantage in the first round. Haven't had that since 07/08

I think we have a tough run coming up. Honestly, the real discussion might be can we hold on to avoid the play-in.

Their remaining in March is a cakewalk so probably not.

It’s gonna be tough to catch the Clips:
Clips’ next 8 games are full of cupcakes.
Our next 8 games include only 2 sub-.500’s.

My sincere hope is that the Clips overtake the TWolves for the 3 seed. I would love for the Pels to have a 4-5 matchup vs the TWolves.

I don't see how we pass up Minnesota. They are 4.5 games ahead of us, that's a shite ton of ground to make up with so few games left.

The Clippers only have to go .500 the rest of the way to win 50 games. And I think they'll win a little more than 50 games based on that schedule. I'll change my tune if we play a strong final home stretch against OKC, MIL, BOS, PHO, ORL, SAS.

Their remaining schedule is too easy. Had been thinking for the past couple weeks if we didn’t pass them by the time we played we wouldn’t catch them.

BPI projections the same as 2 weeks ago, #4 53 wins for Clippers, #5 50 for Pels.

I honestly don't think it matters if we are 4th or 5th. We have played just as well on the road as at home (near identical with 1 more road win currently).

For us it will be more important making sure we can avoid matching Den in the 2nd round. If Den climbs to 1st it would be better for us to fall back to 6th than climb up to 4th.

And I'm not saying to intentionally fall to 6th in that scenario, just that it would be better. Can't frick around and risk having to play in.

March 26-30 is going to answer all these questions for the Pels.

Think I'm gonna go ahead and get some tickets to the Pistons game, but dudes be sitting vs us so I usually wait until the day before to see if I get any indicator from media.

I just grabbed 2 mid level tickets for 40$ each, taking my daughter to her first b ball game, even though she doesn't gaf about it lol. I still ain't been to Lil Cesars arena and I gotta see my **** Z in person before I die.

No because our schedule is brutal but I don’t really give a shite as long as we one of those top 6.

I think they can, and I can see the story being written to play out as NO ends up with a top 3 seed and Zion getting MVP consideration (basically just TV conversation, and maybe 1 or 2 votes). I can definitely see this year playing out like that and low key, the NBA would benefit from that story line and their playoff games might be the most watched of the 1st round.

I can DEFINITELY see that happening.

Very feasible 50 win projection imo

We just have to go 9-6 to get to 50, which you would think is very doable, although it is a difficult schedule.

Nets W
Magic L
Heat W (We aren't losing to them this time)
Pistons W
OKC W
Bucks L
Boston L
Phoenix W
Magic W
Spurs W
Phoenix L
Portland W
Kings L
GSW W
Lakers W

I have feeling the Warriors and Lakers will be resting as they are going to both be in the 9/10 spot no matter what by then.

I think's it's important how we play these next 11 games, minus the Nets/Pistons/Spurs, so 8 games against playoff teams. You can't go 2-6 against them, and hopefully we can keep it 4-4.

At least the B2B's we have are very managable in that Orlando to Miami is quick and easy, as is Sacramento to San Fran.

But they still may potentially be playing for homecourt in that play in game.

Whats weird is warriors suck at home this year but even then for an elimination game you definitely want home court.

I don't think either one of them care at all about where a game is played. Being rested and healthy is more important than playing at home.
