Can't see Philly parting with Embiid. Not sure Simmons fits with Zion and he is due a max deal after next season.

For AD... lol, they'd take that every day of the week for long term health alone imo. I'm not crazy about either of Ben or Embid.

Yeah, but I would take Simmons on huge deal before I took Ingram on huge deal.

Embiid is untouchable in Philly’s eyes, IMO.

I wouldn’t even trade Embiid for Davis. Every time they play, Embiid just toys with Davis.

If they would, I think it would have already been done.

Davis for Embid? No chance

Davis for Simmons? They’d say yes while shitting themselves in joy

I still don’t think they’d trade Simmons even though Davis is easily superior. They were one game away from the finals. I don’t see them moving any major pieces after this past season.

More from Mac:

The AD market is MUCH bigger than is being reported. Maybe not in terms of the quality of the return but definitely in the number of serious suitors and that should, at the very least, drive up the quality of the return

As a side note, Portland will be up for sale in the next couple years.

Paul Allen's will includes detailed instructions for the sale for his teams, Seahawks and Trailblazers, with all profits going to charity. Paul's sister, the current owner, will not be as open wallet as Paul was with the luxury tax - which they are currently sitting in.

Same time, the Trailblazers's contract with Portland is up in 2023. Jody Allen will likely not renew before the sale and new ownership could likely relocate the team 200mi north to Seattle. Expect the front office to do more than coast in cruise control between now and then.

I am soooo ready for this AD trade saga to be over already.

When are we expecting to really start hearing that we are in deep discussions with a team?

Which kind of goes without saying.

How often does a supposed top 5 player hit the trade market?

PG13 and Kawhi have shown that taking a chance on an expiring contract can pay off through re-signing and/or winning big.

Awesome news to hear. That's really what we need.

I'm so sick of the idiotic Lakers fans claiming that we have lost all leverage somehow and we will have to take whatever we can get. It is quite hilarious

I think Simmons is worthless and AD is better than Embi who is constantly banged up.

2 things:

Good. More teams the better the offer will be in the end.

And frick no. Do not want any part of CJ's contract or Mo Harkless. Not enough.

Those idiots are annoying as hell.

Can’t wait until they not only lose out on AD but lose out on all the other prize FAs as well.

KD isn’t going to the Lake Show. Not sure Kyrie is who they want even if he is a big name. Kawhi is either staying in Toronto or going to the Clippers. Etc.

They are going to be negotiating leverage for the Jimmy Butlers of the league and then MAYBE signing someone like Cousins on an inflated deal.

Carter is a better rebounder, Collins is the better player overall though

Davis is not better than Embiid. Embiid is very injury prone, out of shape and erratic. But he is a dominating presense with no equal in the league. The Sixers are desperate and frustrated, so now would be the time to strike. Embiid for Davis straight up is my dream trade..

To all those wishing the AD trade saga to end quickly, please exit the threads. It benefits the Pelicans to have this drag on as long as Griff needs it to. 12 teams seriously interested is way better than the Knicks or Lakers shite offers getting tossed around.

I want this to play out, but I am in no way hoping for a speedy end. There has literally never been this kind of trade asset on the open market. Take as much time as possible to get the best deal possible.
