I listened to it and SA's comment that Jrue wants out was dicta. The thrust of what Kellerman was saying is that the Pels should tear it all down in order to build a contender in 3 and then a championship team in 5. And he's got a point. Going after proven veterans now is the way Demps did it...it failed. Now part of it was Demps' execution but they were never going to win a title. Let's win a title.

Maybe I misunderstood, But I thought Stephen A was saying that the NBA contacted the Pelicans and told them that a joint training staff was not going to fly. And that Kellerman’s info was outdated because the Pels had agreed to the NBA’s request and would not be sharing the training staff moving forward.
