Boston has few assets that would be attractive in a TM trade, however I would assume he’s of the thought that Brown would be involved in the deal, which would make them a very big attractive destination

I've been watching them all taking about this. The OKC situation intrigues me. They kept talking about them trading for Giannis or Murphy. But they don't really go into what they give us, other than picks.

With how bad Holmgren was, his value is low. But he would be a great fit next to Queen. If we traded Murphy and Jones to OKC, I think we could get Holmgren and at least one 1st (#12 of 17). That just fixes a lot of our issues right away.

Ainge use to always have a stockpile of picks. If pelicans get rid of Murphy without dishing Zion too they will continue to be the little step brother of the league. Bill is obnoxious no matter what he knows.

Who gives a shite at this point. Trade Trey while he has value and dont repeat a BI situation by waiting too long.

If you trade Trey, Zion 100% needs to be traded right after.

I might finally stop watching if we trade Trey and Herb for 1 pick, that isn’t even too 10, and Chet Holmgren

He's been trying to speak a Murphy trade to Boston into existence for a couple months now.

This is the delusion of our fan base. Holmgren's accomplishments dwarf both Jones and Murphy combined. He is all-NBA this year, and 1st team all defense. He has won a ring as the "3rd" option. His value is super low, at this moment. So, we need to take advantage, if possible. But that is a tremendous return, if we could swing that.

If Murphy and Jones are so awesome, why aren't we winning with them?

This team needs a full rebuild. Chet will not make us a contender. If we are to make trades, our best bet would be to trade for as many picks as humanly possible and plan for the future. I also just kinda hate Chet

Boston doesn't have anything that interests me really, but OKC has a lot of young talent that's intriguing.

Chet would immediately break his foot if he came here.

Holmgren and a pick is fair value for Murphy

B/c Zion isn't good enough to be the best player on a winning team.
Trey and Herb are role players.

Chet just turned 24 and is the type of guy we'd hope to be able to draft.

I don't want to trade Trey, but if we rebuild, we need talents like Chet

Nobody said that he would. He's just a tremendous fit next to Queen. He'll make him better. That should be the focus. How to build around and improve our young talent.

You have to take back salary and pieces. Somebody on the team has to be paid. Plus there is no incentive to bottom out anymore. You have to be competitive while you build. We need functional players that actually fit together.

Also, this could just be the first trade. We can still move Zion, Murray, and Poole. One doesn't hinge on any of the others. Personally, I think it's better to role with Zion and Murray till the deadline and hope they bump their value a bit more. I'd waive Poole. His salary slot needs to go to Bey, who I want to extend..

Trey is a bit better than a role player. He just put up 21.5, 5.7, and 3.8 on 47% shooting and 38% from 3 on high volume.

We have a flawed team, a prospect who neve became a superstar, and terrible coaching, but y'all use this to devalue our players

Trey's salary isn't too crazy. It's his next contract that will make him overpaid. So on that hand, it makes sense to keep him.

However, we're going to suck for the next few years so what's the point?

I'd probably sell high on him for prospects.

This is a 3-4 year re-build.

No one on the team besides Fears/Queen will likely be here in three years.
