Exactly this

Even just a slightly below average shooting night by Ingram and we win by 4

We lost because we scored 2 points in the last 3:38 and 9 points in the last 7 minutes

This is a game we should’ve won by 15 tbh

Exactly. It looked like the bronze medal game at the special Olympics.

Nothing else needs to be said. People are bitching about CJ and Willie but the dude asking for a max contract was the worst player on the court tonight. CJ at least kept us in the game, and this was far from Willie’s worst performance.

We would have won if BI never touched the court tonight. He is fricking awful

No we wouldn’t have. Dort would have just been harassing someone else in this case. Just because he’s on the floor doesn’t mean the offense has to run through him. It’s up to the coaches to make a change which we didn’t make until late. So no we didn’t lose because of BI, we lost because of the coaching staff.

That is extreme but the guy had 12 points. His defense was subpar, slowed the pace and had stupid turnovers. We made most our runs with him on the bench. Just saying hes not that far off.

We lost because we missed a bazillion open corner threes. I know OKC had some open ones too but not as many as us.

There were many other things that contributed to the loss, but if we hit those threes at a rate that was close to what our season numbers are, we win tonight by 5-10 points.

A combined 7-27 with 5 turnovers lost the game. Herb hit the side of the backboard on an open corner shot. Alvarado missed some good looks too. I’d like to see how many of our 39 3’s were considered open or uncontested. A NBA team shouldn’t be shooting 28% on good looks.

Probably should’ve had 55 in the first half just based on hitting g wide open shots.

BI’s shot chart in 2019 (1st year with the Pels) vs 2024, this season:

24: 47% mid - 14% rim - 23% three
19: 27% - 25% - 35%

If you could take the skills of current BI, & have him take the shot selection of 2019 BI, what type of player would he be?

A FAR better fit

And the bad thing is in 19 he shot the 3 at a great percentage, he almost had a 50/40/90 season IIRC

The exact type of player we need next to zion. That's what pisses me off most about BI. We know he CAN do it. We've seen it before. He just doesn't WANT to do it.

Don't do that.

Ingram shite the bed on his own. Cj had a decent game shooting wise.
