The hell is that on Ham's head?

give IND nearly unprecedented expiring salary
does a team like Indy really want that much cap space from an expiring though? feel like it’s usually the bigger market teams who get the most use out of that

Why trade for something we already have (their first)?
in that scenario, it would really be trading Graham for our first, since we still have to give it to them in the swap

Reading laker fans tweets about how they should tank for Wembayama is hilarious.

If the Lakers were smart they would try to extract as much as possible out of Davis and James as far as trade compensation.

Can’t get much from LeBron.
That extension of his makes him virtually untradeable until the offseason due to Bye Year Compensation IIRC.
Davis? They can cash him in for parts but he is as reliable as a Fiat, so the offers won’t be high.

Remember when the Lakers fired Frank Vogel because Vogel was the problem?

Lebron is ineligible to be traded until after this season.

@ twolves
vs nuggets
vs pels
lakers start a 4 game homestand with that nuggets game. great chance for them to completely implode in front of their paying customers

I want to see them go 1-17 like we did last season. There is no way LeGM could handle that.

stolen from our own SaintTigerPel from the Trigga shooting 68% from downtown this season thread:

Another great thing about the Lakers 0-3 start is that all of their losses have been in conference. I know it is to early to pay attention to that, but losses in the Western Conference almost count as more because the first goal we should be rooting for is them missing the play in game.

Looking at their schedule? Definitely possible.
A lot of the teams that looked to be possible wins like Utah, Portland, SAS, are 3-1 or better. Worst team they face in that span is the Kings and they will refuse to give in.

But that is why they should not and won't trade AD/Bron to start a rebuild.
That and Lebron can't be traded this season either.
