People are always interested when a lotto pick is in play. Especially when a player like Wembenyama is available.

Like I said in my last few posts, I'm just here for the

Because this is all you post and you bring nothing of value to the board. The old "Oh I don't actually care but I'll keep posting because I don't care" routine. You're trolling just as bad as Rhino dude.

You're a North Carolina and Lakers fan? Let me guess, you've never been to North Carolina or Los Angeles, but they were both good back in the day so you joined the bandwagon.

Lovely when guys hide behind keyboards and try to jab at someone when they have absolutely nothing good to say

The fact that it continues to be ramblings about the pathetic lakers team and how invested in them it just blows my mind.

60 pages in this thread may just be about KD or Kyrie trade rumors...

No one takes into account the amount of time wasted talking about things that don't even matter nor will occur.

The Lakers suffering(or not) has a commensurate benefit(or not) on the Pelicans.

It's a game within the game. The worse LA does the better the odds are of the Pels hitting lottery gold.

It's not that hard to see why people are occupying time following their struggles.

The team is not good and they are an AD injury away from potentially finishing the season near the bottom of the league.

They are also a desperation trade away from being able to make the play in/playoffs barring relative health.

That's like 75% of life, dude.

FROM NOW ON WE ONLY TALK ABOUT THINGS THAT HAVE HAPPENED IN THE PAST. NEVER EVER TALK IN A SPECULATIVE MANNER, SONS.

Thing is, I understand all of that.

I don't think majority of the board does.

If they did they wouldn't waste their times with "what ifs"...

Just sit back and enjoy the ride

It will all play itself out.

pelicanfan2456 or zionforMVP6969 won't have any impact or be able to save them.

As a fan of a small market team, I understand the ups and downs of building a winning product, and also the patience you have to have in order to get to absolutely enjoy it. It's great what the Pels have been able to do and collect a ton of talent, but they are not there yet...speeding up the growth process could stunt the growth of a franchise. So as a fan of the Pels I just enjoy what they do and don't get emotionally wrapped up in what they don't do or what other teams could do etc. I have ZERO impact on the outcome of all of that...

I wouldn’t count on it. Guy went against Jamal Murray and had a good game. All the Lakers fans are worshipping Westbrook now, as if he didn’t screw up their previous games. This actually benefits us because happy laker fans will make Buss not give up the Lakers future picks. Heck even their HC cried because Westbrook did great. Plus AD is playing through back pain, I highly doubt he will make it to the season also.

I'm kinda glad they won, I didn't want the possibility of them getting their 1st win vs us.

I'm already seeing internet threads and talking heads discussing "could westbrook be a 6th man of the year candidate" stuff after 1 win

Westbrook had one good game. He does that but he'll follow up with 3-15. He didn't learn how to shoot again overnight.

The media just can't let the Lakers go.

You could tell AD was getting annoyed at Kamla today on NBA radio with he kept saying that Hield/Turner could put the Lakers into the conference finals...right.

I mean, WTFF? Two losers who have helped lead Indiana to being one of the shittiest teams in the league are all of a sudden gonna improve the Lakers from bottom five to top 4? Uh, Ok.

Did you even read Bronc’s post you Lebitch poopdick?

YES WE absolutely understand all of that. That is the WHOLE POINT of this thread speculating possible outcomes, hoping for their failure, and taking joy in the misery of the lakers’ fans when it happens.

Their performance and personnel moves DIRECTLY affect our draft pick so one more time THAT IS EXACTLY WHY WE HAVE THIS THREAD.

Did chicken ever give out admin duties so this douche can finally be banned from at least this thread if not board?

He just ruins it all the time. I’ll go back to lurking now.
PS. Learned a lot from you fellas and enjoy the ups and downs with y’all even if I’m not posting. Longhorn is the fricking worst.

So just out of curiosity, when does posting on a message board have any impact on the teams?

They're a playoff team with Turner and Hield insted of Westbrook, but they are FAR from a WCF.

Hield and turner would be relegated to 3 pt shooter and wouldn't touch the ball otherwise

Are they though?

They'd be competing for a play-in spot, but the west is hella deep and even if the Lakers mortgaged their future for Hield/Turner, their bench is still going to lose them a lot of games.
