I don’t think they will mortgage the future tbh. Lebron is too old and AD is too fragile. Plus if you have no picks, how are you going to draft his son. Lebron is known for leaving franchises in a bad spot.

Would be great to see them get some balls and trade Lebron. Would suck for us most likely because they would get better. But would be great to see.

Thing is, I understand all of that. I don't think majority of the board does. If they did they wouldn't waste their times with "what ifs"... Just sit back and enjoy the ride It will all play itself out.

Wtf is a message board for then? Am I just supposed to wait for people to post something that are sitting and waiting for it to “play out?” You can’t be this dense. It has to be trolling at this point. Over and over you drop in for attention in the exact same way and it’s sad you keep getting it. Reality is this board needs to be handled like the sec rant with permission to post if you’re going to blatantly troll.

So just out of curiosity, when does posting on a message board have any impact on the teams?

But yet, when he was not posting, there were posting about him trying to get him to come back. Why?

The amazing Myles Turner with a blistering 7 points on 2 of 8 last night in a loss to the trash bag Nets.

This dude is taking the Lakers to the Conference Finals?

He has to be the most overrated player in the league for like 5 straight seasons.

Reasons like this is why I couldn't help but chuckle in the Admin/Mod thread where it felt like 10-20 posters replied stating we don't need a mod, we just need to ignore the trolls. That'll never happen, we need the mod to save us from ourselves!!

It's pretty simple though, not trolling....

Yet when rational things are discussed things aren't taken how they should be.

I read through certain posters in here who understand basketball/pels and can see who stands where.

They do have some fillers however that blur up the thread or board with their nonsense.

Get back on topic though.... eating szn

Article in Lakers daily quotes an NBA executive interviewed by Bleacher Report:

quote:

“I don’t like what I’ve seen from A.D.,” the executive told Bleacher Report. “That back doesn’t look healthy.”

Like ATL said a few pages ago, if the back is already bad now, it's not going to get better. It's going to be a problem all season and probably get worse.

I am really starting to wonder if he might retire at the end of the season.

I don't think he'll retire over it, but he's been grabbing at it in games like he's an old man all season. At some point he's going to go down and not come back up for 6-8 weeks and by then it might be 1-2-3 Cancun time.

That would shock me, but I do think we are seeing the end of him as a dominant player. Maybe this season and next and thats probably it(with a lot of DNP's)

It's crazy to me that he and Giannis are only around a 1.5 years apart and Giannis looks like he is going to dominate for another 3-5 years while AD looks like he will be lucky to ever play more than 55 games a season past this year. And likely and a precipitously declining output

All bodies are built differently, but AD has definitely not dedicated himself to the gym like Giannis has done.

Didn’t that happened to Dwight Howard and he wasn’t the same after that?

here’s the Eric pincus article with the quote

LINK

he makes a good point about turner that he’s as injury prone as Davis, and will require a new contract. Lakers could wind up without any draft capital AND without space to add players.

there are no good answers if Davis doesn’t dominate. That’s what the lakers were counting on

Years of falling to the ground on nearly every other jump shot hasn’t helped either.

If Hield and Turner were so good, they wouldn't always be on the block.

One is injury prone. The other is a defensive sieve with attitude issues.

Good luck with that L.A.
