I think Fox is an elite driver. Imagine how much more effective he will be when he drives and can lob it up to Val or Zion.

He would be great for what we are lacking in a guard that drives and facilitates. I just don’t think we are team that gets a player like that. Not this year at least…..

There is no reason to get Powell at his salary in a Fox deal. Don't get me wrong, Hart/Graham/Powell would be an amazing bench, but no reason to tie up so much money in a guy that won't be starting.

I say take a swing at Fox, fill in the rest of roster with complementary players.

Powell, Hart and Graham are enough to get you a 4th star if/when someone demands out. Say SGA demands out next season, those 3 get a team like OKC thinking hard because they don't need more draft assets.

Is an elite starting 5, offensively at least.

Herb starts and finishes, he has shown he can guard the best players in the NBA and can also fill up the stat sheet with steals, blocks, points and rebounds.

Yeah you start Herb he’s just too valuable.

Then I am not sure that we should acquire Powell, in this hypo. Powell needs to start, most likely.

Slo is on Pels talk...that's a good sign, Sons.

Herb is very likely the future of this team, and that isn't hyperbole. No way he comes off the bench, nor should he.

That's fine. I really like Powell. If all we can do is use the trade exception to get him then I'm happy for now.

But if we can get Fox, then we can't get him and Powell unless Powell or Herb is OK coming off the bench.

I'm of the belief you can never have to many good players

Not trade news exactly, but I would assume chatter about him will pick up soon.

Add them with whatever draft assets you have left, and it absolutely is. 3 good veteran players would get you one of those 2nd tier fringe all star star players.

Everybody is shooting too high. We just need a couple of back up guards. If we added a pair like Schroeder and Kennard, that would make a huge difference. Both their teams want to get rid of them. Wouldn't cost that much.

Graham/Schroeder
Hart/Kennard
Jones/Temple
Ingram (Zion)/Murphy
Val/Hernangomez

It's a good mix and deep, once Zion comes back. I would like a back up 4 until that happens (a Morris type tweener). We wouldn't be going all in or mortgaging the future. Just subtle enhancements..

Please god don’t let Griffin cripple us any further to try and save his job. Just let the young guys play and grow, and the dysfunction of the roster construction and injuries will take care of the rest. Get a top tier player in this draft, look to improve next year, and compete in 2023 and beyond.

We’ve been handed a gift, don’t overthink this

Glad someone else said it. Agree 1000%
