C: Vucevic
PF: Williams (Markanen RFA)
SF: Derozan
SG: Lavine Caruso Dosumu
PG: Lonzo White
Once they signed DD, I asked him what the heck will Zo's role be on offense. And he said he'll be a valuable ball mover. Apparently the most valuable $85 ball mover in the league
I was giving him a hard time but honestly, not saying they shouldn't have gotten DD but I just don't see how Zo fits now.

Sato and Temple aren’t their trash lol. Sato is a good backup on a good expiring contract. The bulls could have flipped him at any point to almost any team.

Would you rather pay Caruso 9.25 or Santoransky 10 million?

I like the moves the bulls made minus lonzo.
Caruso and derozan are great additons.

Yeah Griff looks bad here
Why? For the right to pay another older guy an average of $28mil? It is actually a good bit to give up….
Young may have been expiring, but he still held value. At least we are either giving up two 2nd picks or get to keep our first. If we do keep our first, then Griffin is likely gone anyway.
But we still got very nice value for a guy who can be a spot starter.

They could've flipped him for sure but we should've gotten him and coby white or him and a protected first.

Is this supposed to be a gotcha? Sato is a better player offensively. Caruso is a Dellavadova type hustle player. They paid him long term money and sato has 1 year 10 mil. I would absolutely rather Sato

I agree for sure. I’m convinced this deal isn’t over and that there’s a lot more coming. If not it’s a bad deal.

I'm not going to lie and say staying patient about this isn't difficult.
My patience is wearing thin at times and we haven't even gone 24 hours.
It feels like shades of last offseason when we weren't doing anything and it turns out because we were dragging out the Jrue trade to include Adams, which disallowed us from making other moves.
But I still assume there is a plan here and we will still see another 2-3 players of worth added.

Looks like Chicago also included Aminu in the deal. He's on a $10M expiring, but I'm sure dumping him had some cost associated with it. He hasn't been a useful player in a while.

I could see them getting to around the 5 seed in the east. They aren't ever getting to the ECF with that roster though. Kind of hamstringing themselves for the future with all this large multi-year deals

It shouldn't surprise anyone. No Free Agent of any worth besides Peja has signed here.
We will have to get really good through the draft and trades. If we do, then guys will sign here.
If Zion is GREAT and we are competing, and he has re-signed, we will get guys to sign here.
