Ok didn’t realize that. If we pass the Lakers we’d likely just be relying on the Wizards then, right? who already have a better record than the Lakers
Eta obviously makes a huge difference if we can rely on the East teams and not just SAC, SA, POR but honestly don’t know whether it goes by record or who teams that make the play in games.

Play-in game has nothing to do with your draft position UNLESS you make the 8 team playoff. If you don't make the 8-team playoff, your draft position is determined by your overall record & any play-in games you might play, don't figure in your overall record.

Still need wizards to stay ahead of them and for us to pass them For them to at least be 10th. Would be nice to have at least one more team pass them to feel comfortable

It seems like a given that the Pels will pass the Lakers. If that happens, the pels Just need one of blazers, wizards, Knicks, or spurs to pass the lakers for the lakers to fall to the 10th draft slot before lottery. Seems very doable
