Would have to be a third team involved.

Kyrie is a FA so it's not impossible, but Lakers will once again be giving up what little draft capital they have left to move him, all to double down on an aging top heavy roster for one last shot at glory before the bottom falls out.

As pointed out in the other thread, doing a sign and trade hard-caps them.

Problem is that, as of now, Spotrac says they are $2m into the tax.


They’ll have to throw picks at the Nets for Kyrie and then convince someone to take THT so they can clear $10m to sign a bunch of vet minimum players.


They have 4 unfilled roster spots they are charged for cap-wise as of now but that is the minimum number they have to have. No way these frickers make it through the season unscathed.
