I’m not going to lie I read your post at first and thought “what the frick is he talking about” and then assumed you were joking after a minute.
People are anxious. Almost every FA of note is gone and we have done literally nothing in that regard.

No, I'm saying we were never bringing in another high priced wing. We didn't have the money. We'll be trading for one or looking over the FA scraps.
Don't know why everyone was expecting us to SIGN one.
Edit:
That was the key part. We weren't going to go out and sign anyone worth a shite anyway. Trade is a different story.

Bogdan offer sheet is 4/72 from ATL.

A good bit more than was rumored in the initial S&T with the Bucks.
I think that one was ~13/yr.

With Bogdan and Galinarri signing with Hawks. I hope we can trade them for Cam Reddish. Guy improved at the end of the season. I don’t mind having Huerter or hunter but they probably cost more.
I just hope Sacramento doesn’t match.

Another team that has an over abundance of wings is the Grizz
Allen, Konchar, Winslow, Anderson, Porter, Hezonja, Guduric
Wouldn’t mind Kyle Anderson honestly

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Kings match it.

what would the hawks want that we have in exchange for a cost controlled rookie that they just used a top 10 pick on? at this point you trade with the hawks to use their cap space...not the other way around

It’s more of being the odd man out.Unless they think he is better than Huerter. Guy won’t have platting time

unless you are thinking something like lonzo for reddish and then I’m all in. They wouldn’t do that now (they just signed rondo to take teagues spot) so thats not happening either

When Hawks said they were looking for a veteran presence, what they really meant was we're looking for an unreasonable amount of veteran presences.
I don't see why they need to keep piling up on veteran wings when there's such a logjam at the 2/3/4 already
SacTown will match

Lonzo to Charlotte for Monk and draft picks (2 1sts) before they execute the Hayward signing. They can then send Rozier back to Boston for S&T of Hayward.
We send Monk and a draft pick to Atlanta for Reddish.
Saves Pels about 7 million where we can complete the trade and use full MLE and BAE on whatever scraps are left in the market

Another dumb question: is it weird we haven't heard anything on the BI front? I'd have thought we would've locked that up at the start of FA.
Posted on 11/22/20 at 12:42 pm to Hazelnut
Yes and no.
I'm sure the offer is there and agreed on, they just have to finalize the trade and other things before they can execute it.
Just like we haven't heard anything about Milwaukee with Giannis, but you know they have the extension on the table.

I’m pretty convinced that Sac will match the offer sheet.

I can't remember if the timing/order of signatures has implications on the salary cap or not
Are you supposed to do free agents first for best flexibility?

As soon as Ingram signs we lose 6 mil in cap space, as Shamit said we’re probably going back and forth between doing the trade using cap space or staying above the cap.

Is that the difference between his cap hold and year 1 of the new deal?

I don't think they will, Atlanta went high enough with their offer that Sacramento would have to start worrying about LT concerns starting next year
