The comments are generally positive, but I cringed. It's like watching Metallica sing "Rainy Days and Mondays" IMO

It’s alright, it’s not unique or original, and it definitely lacks some authenticity. But, if I was at a Carrie Underwood show, and I had a lot of beers, this would be the highlight of the evening.
But I would never go to a Carrie Underwood show.

Carrie can rock out. Honestly it's sexy as frick. And she has the voice to pull it off. She has always had a rock side to her, going back to her Idol days. And she has always loved 80's rock.
She can sing the phonebook and it'd sound great.
