What “modern” country artists do you feel are still actual country?

What I’m asking is, which artists do you consider country, instead of bro-country, or country-pop?
For me:
-Luke Combs
-Lee Brice
-Chris Young
My two favorite genres have always been country and rock, so I’ve always loved Eric Church, because I feel like he bridges the gap perfectly.

What about Luke Combs does NOT scream pop-country to you?

Here are a few that have restored my faith:
Dee White- Crazy Man
Parker Millsap - Truckstop Gospel
Alex Williams- A little too stoned

Country music has an opportunity to take over the entire "singer/songwriter" genre.

This a song by Parker Millsap, not Parker McCollum.
Parker Millsap is an very talented songwriter and guitarist from Oklahoma. I wouldn’t call his music country, though.
Parker McCollum is a singer from Texas. He probably belongs in this thread more than Millsap. Apparently he’s signed with a major label, I hope he doesn’t become bro-country.

all three of those sing country pop songs, especially luke combs. just because he's fat with a beard doesn't make him a legit "country" artist.

I consider them country, because unlike pop, they rarely, if ever use machines and auto tune.
It may not be old country, but they are using a guitar, drums, bass, and sometimes a fiddle. That’s country enough for me.

To be honest, and it's pretty sad, but the most "country" people are probably the country rappers like The LACS, Jawga Boyz, Bottleneck, etc.
These are the guys doing typical country things...beer drinking, going to mud bogs, hunting & fishing.
