Emily Scott Robinson. She’s a newcomer to the Americana scene. “Traveling Mercies” and her EP are solid.

I’ve also rediscovered Reba and Patty Loveless.

can't wait man. I'll just take marta down there and get off at north avenue, I believe I'll work a normal schedule so probably won't get down there until like maybe 6ish. No clue what the others I'm going with are doing. I'll be the only one in the group not high as shite, had to give that up a while ago, but will definitely be looking to get a buzz on so I'm cool with meeting for drinks.

was thinking earlier about bumping this thread

Oh yeah, very ready. I'll MARTA down there, not sure what I wanna do about food and pregame yet if I just want to eat a little somethign at the house beforehand or eat around the Fox...not sure what kind of wait times I'd be looking at trying to go to a restaurant around there. I haven't been to the fox in ages, can you eat in there? Where are you guys getting together beforehand?

eta: also any idea how long the show lasts? It says doors at 7 and show at 8 and I would assume tehre is no opener so I'm guessing htey'll start right at 8. Any clue how long the set list will be?

Show lasts over 2 hours. Maybe 2.5. There is drinks and snack food at the Fox

We typically meet up at a bar/resteraunt beforehand and snack/Drink. Lets just say it. Mostly drink. After the show, we sometimes walk and eat. Last year was the Vottex...

Let me know if you want to hook up with us. Will be about 6 of us total. Usually meet a few hours before.

The Gaslight Anthem.

Since they're on (permanent?) hiatus, secondary is Gary Clark Jr after seeing him in concert.

I love powerful female vocalists. Florence and the Machine, for example.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard for the last couple of years. That combo of energy, talent and ridiculous ambition has me hooked.
