The Beatles

After all these years, I always go back to where modern rock n roll started and it just never gets old.

Over half of a century later and they'll never be topped.

Do you have a single favorite album of theirs?

No, I change my mind so much about them.

One month it's Revolver, next month it's Magical Mystery Tour, next it's A Hard Day's Night...

. I checked out their site adn didn't see any Atlanta dates, just one in Savannah..will they add more on for the summer? I'd love to check em out at the fox.

They usually announce the summer event in early March or late February. They should announce pretty soon. They have been here the past 6 years. Once in March but most of the time in late May to mid june.

Keep an eye out for it

Roommate back in college, 91-92, was a big Beatles fan. I never really cared much for them. A few songs here or there but never really sat down to listen to their albums. That all changed about a month ago and I can say I'm truly obsessed with them right now. Favorite album of theirs, at the moment, is The Magical Mystery Tour. Can't get enough of Strawberry Fields. Also loving the Beatles White Album Super Deluxe set. Love the Esher Demos. Especially that early Helter Skelter.

Yea, I just bought the White Album Super Deluxe. I'm really into it. I really like Lennon's Child of Nature/Jealous Guy. The Esher Demos are incredible.

Sigur Ros

Years ago I was too. When Ágætis byrjun came out I was big into them, haven’t gave them a listen in a long while but probably should. Mum as well.

That's my next big LP purchase. Only listened to it through Amazon Music so far.

Lynyrd Skynyrd (Ronnie Van Zant) era. Not a bad song on any of their albums during that period.

Yes indeed! I tell you how bad it is- I have never picked up a guitar in my life- but I want to buy a Gibson explorer and take lessons to only learn the Alan Collins solo on comin home....

Their last album was really good. It's a much harsher sound, but still has that Sigur Ros feel to it.

That said, the last I heard was their drummer was forced to quit because of some sexual assault allegations.

Jackson Browne and Bob Seger. These Days, Running on Empty, You Love The Thunder, and Tender Is The Night by Jackson Browne all speak to my soul. Bob Segers Night Moves, Hollywood Nights, Roll Me Away, Mainstreet, Like a Rock, and Against The Wind are in my opinion truly lyrical masterpieces that I can directly relate to and anytime I hear them it's like taking a stroll down memory lane.
