I don't this this emotionally devastating, but it is the last song on one of my favorite album (if double albums count!)

Jackson Brown, and the closer on the lp of the same name, The Pretender. Album was a homage to his recently deceased wife, who committed suicide.

I know the guy only wrote about dragons and sci fi ( ) but this one is a fitting last song on his last album ever.
