I have no issue with that. You like what you like.
But it is their most popular song by an extremely wide margin.

It’s hard to judge on YouTube because there are many different versions of every song, official, unofficial, live, etc.
I think Spotify is a better ranking of the song’s popularity, not just what video is more popular.
But they are all imperfect.
Most popular certainly doesn’t equal best.
Below is Spotify’s top 5. Symphony of Destruction has 220 million more streams than Holy Wars.

I'm a self proclaimed "Metal" expert. A teenage music nut from the early 80's
Growing up there was only one "Metal" genre.
Now there as many as 65 recognized "Subgenres" of Metal
Impossible to pick only one best metal song of all time.
And everyones opinion regarding "Subgenres" is different
and this from Loudwire cracks me up.
