Good call.

I will never understand how anyone gets past about 10 seconds of an Alice In Chains song.

The best to my ears:
Screaming Trees - Sweet Oblivion

Rounding out my top 10:
Temple of the Dog - Temple of the Dog
Pearl Jam - Ten
Smashing Pumpkins - Gish
Stone Temple Pilots - Purple
Skid Row - Slave to the Grind
Black Crowes - Southern Harmony and Musical Companion
Soundgarden - Down on the Upside
GnR - Use Your Illusion I & II
Alice in Chains - Dirt

Absolutely love Dirt, but for me, I would say NOLA from Down or Far Beyond Driven.

Hard lean to NOLA

We're talking best albums, not best album covers. I'm not sure I would put Amorica in the top 3 of best Black Crowes albums in the 90s. I'm sure I would put it behind By Your Side and Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. Not sure if I would put it over the album (whose name I am currently blanking on) with Midnight from the Inside Out and One Mirror Too Many on it or not.

Limp Bizkit Significant Other (1999).

Hard to beat the back to back to back songs of Nookie, Break Stuff, and Reaarange. Man those are some all time greats!

If you consider “Jar of Flies” an album, I’d rate it ahead of “Dirt.”

Core was better but I think both are better than Dirt.
STP was my favorite of the 90s bands so I may be a little biased.
