No clue... I've always wanted to check out LIVE and to get Soul Asylum and Our Lady Peace too, is cherry.

Don't really care for STP since no Scott Weiland.

What’s crazy is the guy who they replaced Ed with as the singer in the early 2000’s for a bit was former Charlotte/New Orleans Hornets owner George Shinn’s son Chad Shinn.

Yeah, but in most situations, the lead singer is the band.

Cant think of too many bands who'd be same/better with a different singer.

Wow. That was nuts. Thanks for that link. I was big into their music in the 90s. Was finally able to see them play in 2009 but the fire/power in the band was long gone.

I saw them in 2017. I thought it was a cool show. I forgot I knew so many of their songs. I enjoyed it, little did I know how much drama these guys have.

I saw them too around then.

You could say they were selling the drama.

Our lady peace is only going to be the first few shows then Soul Asylum does the rest. Definitely interested in this one. Saw STP a few years ago. Thought they were very good. Lead singer isn’t the showman that Weiland was but most aren’t. RIP

I coulda went and seen STP and Lynyrd Skynyrd at a free concert in Fort Campbell last 4th of July. I didn’t go because it was 90 degrees. I might end up regretting it

1. It should be illegal to call themselves STP without Scott. Would never pay a dime to see them now.

2. Live is as gay as Nickeback, matchbox twenty and soul asylum

Agree. If they are just touring jukeboxing their hits, the lead singer is enough most of the time. You can get very talented musicians to play the music.

There are exceptions. You can’t have Van Halen without Eddie or Rush without Neil. But those are fewer.

SA without Dan Murphy just isn't right to me...

Dont care for any of the other bands...

Saw STP a few years ago and while it was a decent show I thought the new lead singer was trying way to hard to act like Weiland. Was kind of a put off to me.

STP died with Weiland. The Deleo brothers are awesome though.
