So after watching them at the halftime show yesterday, I was wondering how does anyone like them? They are terrible in so many ways. Is this band appealing to any adults or are they just popular among tweens? Wondering how they can have a fan base.

Most halftime shows or special TV appearances help bands quite a bit.
This did the opposite. Shows you have to be ready, if you make an appearance of such magnitude.

I stuck around to watch the halftime show, because I had heard of Imagine Dragons and to see that Lil Wayne was still alive.
I was surprised to learn that I had heard their music before. Now I know to avoid them like the plague. that shite is terrible and is pandering to the lowest common denominator.

My son loves Imagine Dragons. But he is 8. The closest he gets to good music is his Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.

If you say you can’t stand Imagine Dragons but are known to binge on Foo Fighters from time to time then stop fooling yourself.
IG has mass appeal. It is easily digestible. Not all music needs to be an acquired taste.
I personally think they have a unique sound. There is certainly no mistaking them. The halftime performance was poor.

I had a conference in Vegas last September and they were the headliner for the last day festivities.
Had a free ticket and could not bring myself to attend. Their music, if you can call it music, is terrible.

I know they have millions of fans but I don't think it is across generations. It seems that boys under 14 is their target audience, mixed in with some lame stay at home Mom's.
